Teaching

I have teaching experience at both the University of British Columbia and UC San Diego and have taught sections at both the graduate and undergraduate levels across American politics, Canadian Politics, Methodology, and Public Policy. When teaching, I focus on empowering students to learn on their own and equipping them with the tools they need to do this. I firmly believe that a deep understanding of the political world goes beyond knowledge of facts and requires a deeper level of engagement. In the end, my goal is to help students read and write with a purpose to go beyond superficial learning.
